About
I'm a Staff Software Engineer building an incentives marketplace that specializes in blockchain and AI.
After several years of nomadic living, my journey has led me to Mexico City. As a Cursor Ambassador, I co-founded AI Builders Mexico, a community that runs events and workshops to help builders get the most out of AI.
When I'm not coding, I'm lifting heavy in the gym or being a tryhard in Spanish class. I'm active on X where I share my learnings as a builder and launch an experiment every few weeks.
In a former life you may know me as the co-owner of a recording studio, head of bd for merch+brand production, visual artists manager, and board member of Scraper Bikes - all in Oakland, CA. In an even older life you may know me from the Meiflower Foundation, a non-profit that brought me to China in 2013-2015. Now I mostly stick to software.
I find happiness in cycling, science fiction, spicy korean food, hanging out with my dog, playing padel, and music (djing, producing, piano). I also read papers on macroeconomics or the latest AI arxiv, the NYT, and my X feed. I do the crossword (unsuccessfully) daily.
I ponder about the singularity, geopolitics, dark factories, and humanoids.
I've lived in many places: Los Angeles, Shanghai, Oakland, Taipei, Colombia, and now Mexico City.
I enjoy meeting other passionate people - so if you're in town, let's get to know each other over a beverage!
